This agreement explains how GFocus collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data, in compliance with applicable laws.

Processing purposes
- Feature delivery: tasks, calendar sync, reminders.
- Performance optimization: crash logs and performance metrics.
- Analytics: anonymized usage statistics to improve the product.
- Security: detect abuse and protect accounts.
- Service notices: important updates and security alerts.
- Subscription validation: ownerKey and transaction records for entitlement checks.
Data types collected
- Account data: name, email, third‑party sign‑in tokens (Apple ID, Google).
- Task data: tasks, tags, calendar events, reminders.
- Device data: model, OS version, app version, device identifiers for sync.
- Usage data: anonymized logs, session duration, feature usage.
- Crash logs: error reports without personal identifiers.
- Anonymous identifiers: appAccountToken and its ownerKey hash.
- Subscription records: original transaction ID, renewal status, entitlement events.
Storage and security
- Storage location: compliant cloud providers in China.
- Retention: account data while active; crash logs for 90 days.
- Transport security: HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- At‑rest encryption: AES‑256 for sensitive data.
- Access controls: least privilege with audit logs.
- Backups: regular backups and disaster recovery drills.
- OwnerKey mappings stored separately with monitoring and alerts.
Third‑party processing
- Apple App Store: distribution, in‑app purchases, server notifications.
- Cloud providers: hosting, storage, CDN.
- Analytics services: anonymized usage metrics.
- Payments are handled by Apple; we do not store payment details.
- All third parties are required to comply with privacy obligations.
User rights
- Access: view account and task data in‑app.
- Correction: update inaccurate information.
- Deletion: delete tasks or request account deletion.
- Export: export data in standard formats (JSON, CSV).
- Withdraw consent: may affect some features.

Retention and deletion
- After account deletion, data is removed within 30 days unless legally required.
- Deleted tasks are removed from devices immediately and erased from cloud after 30 days.
- Crash logs and anonymous stats are deleted after 90 days.
- Unbound ownerKeys are removed after deletion or binding plus 30 days.
Cross‑border transfer
- Data is primarily stored within China.
- Third‑party login may involve cross‑border transfer; we ensure compliance.
- We do not transfer data abroad without consent or legal requirement.
Minors
- GFocus is not intended for children under 14.
- If we discover child data, it will be removed promptly.
Updates
- We may update this agreement for legal or business reasons.
- Material changes will be communicated via in‑app notice or email.
- Continued use indicates acceptance of the updated agreement.
